About Me
I am confident and creative fashion designer with high awareness of the fashion industry and confident working in fast phase fashion environment. I have industry standard IT skills such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I am able to identify current and future trends with evaluation of design outcomes. Confident with technical drawings as well as 3D design through pattern cutting. I cope well pressure and have industry experience with meeting deadlines. Capable of creating prints to professional standard. I have valuable experience working with Marcel Holubec W. for over 2 years, a well-known Slovak label. An intense environment of pattern cutting, sewing and illustrating meant that I learnt great skills in Fashion very quickly. During this time I also worked for Petra Poorova for just over two years, where I helped with Fashion shows and also gained more experience in sewing garments.
Also recently I was interning for department store House of Fraser which gave a great valuable experience in high street womenswear design a print section. During this internship I did trend reserach from LFW and also trend research for another season. Another valuable experience was with a small brand SUNDAYSLONDON where I helped with preparing for fashion photoshoot.
As well as having practical skills I also have experience in Fashion writing and journalism. In 2010-11 I worked at 2 companies writing Fashion articles for web magazines, which I thoroughly enjoyed and perhaps would like to explore further.
